Thank You & Happy 2023 From Ruth & Family
2022 was full of change here, lots of transitions, new horizons, a lot of letting go's & taking in's.
A date in the calendar has the meaning we give it, but it is a moment to reflect and an opportunity to appreciate and thank you.
If you are reading this - you're clearly my friend (or my mom). You have supported me, my family, lifted us up - in more ways than you know.
I am humbled by my friends. You hosted house concerts for me, you brought friends to shows, told friends about shows, music releases, my kids' music releases, my classes. You came again and again (and bought tickets) to performances... you showed up in terrible weather, you traveled far, you said and continue to say kind things. You picked me up, dropped me off, helped me carry gear, you played and play music with me - and with my kids. You designed stuff, recorded stuff, edited stuff... I think about all this and am in awe and am very, very grateful to you.
I'm incredibly and eternally grateful to my students who make my day - every day, who work hard, have fun and give me purpose. I'm deeply thankful for our community.
I hope 2023 is a year of connection, of laughter, love, adventure, creativity, good health, big, big hugs and light.
